Welcome to my site! A little about me, I was born in London but my family moved to Scotland when I was young. It was there that I started to sing and would later train to become a singer.
I joined the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Junior Chorus aged 12 and later, the RSNO Junior Chamber Choir. We toured Scotland performing and making recordings. This led me on to the National Youth Choir of Scotland which I joined age 15, also touring Scotland.
In 2003 I was awarded a scholarship to study a BMus in Voice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. During my time there I sang with the RCS Chamber Choir, touring Scotland and performing a variety of music from Renaissance and Baroque to contemporary compositions and commissions.
In 2008 I was accepted on to the MMus Opera Course, for which I was granted a scholarship by Principal John Wallace CBE. I graduated from the Alexander Gibson Opera School in 2010.
I have since worked with leading opera companies and orchestras throughout the UK, including the Royal Ballet and Opera, Scottish Opera and Raymond Gubbay. I sing regularly with the Chorus of the Royal Ballet and Opera House. At the same time I enjoy working throughout the country singing for Oratorios and Concerts.
For many years I have also enjoyed working with young singers and new singers a like, through teaching and singing workshops. I regularly work with the Learning and Participation department at the Royal Ballet and Opera House. Where I have worked on music education projects with children of all ages.
